MANUU BA Distance Education Course Duration & Eligibility
The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) offers a flexible Bachelor of Arts (BA) Distance Education program, designed for students who want to pursue higher studies in humanities and social sciences. The BA distance course follows the National Education Policy (NEP) structure and is spread over 8 semesters (4 years), with a maximum duration of 7 years for completion.
To be eligible for BA distance education, candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board. In addition, applicants should have studied through Urdu medium or have taken Urdu as a subject/language at the 10th level or higher, or completed an equivalent Madrasa course approved by MANUU with Urdu as the medium of instruction. The medium of instruction is Urdu, making it ideal for Urdu-speaking learners.
