MANUU DDE Assignments
Through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), the university offers a wide range of Urdu-medium courses, and the specialized DDE portal provides a user-friendly way for students to download their specific assignment sets and track submission notices. By staying updated through this portal, students can ensure their internal marks are processed smoothly for the upcoming examinations.
Understanding MANUU DDE assignments.
Being a distance learner at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) requires a good balance of self-study and timely submissions. While your final exams are crucial, your assignments are the “silent heroes” that build your final grade.
Whether you are pursuing a B.A., M.A., or a Diploma, completing your assignments isn’t just a task—it’s a mandatory requirement to qualify for your Term-End Examinations. In this guide, we’ve broken down everything you need to know about the current session’s requirements and deadlines.
The Importance of MANUU Internal Assessments
Assignments in MANUU CDOE have a huge weightage.
- Weightage: assignments usually carry weightage of 30% and theory exam is 70%.
- Rule : If you don’t submit your assignments on time, you cannot appear for the semester exams and your result will keep showing “Incomplete”.
- Urdu Medium: Also note that since MANUU is an Urdu University, your assignments (except for language subjects like English or Hindi) have to be written in Urdu.
What are the steps to download MANUU assignment papers?
Different batches (from 2022 to 2025) have different assignment sets which are updated from time to time by the university. So, here’s how you can download your own:
Go to the official portal: dde.manuu.edu.in/assignments
Go through the tables for different Programs (UG/PG/Diploma) and Semesters
Search your specific topic (M.A. Urdu, B.Com Financial Accounting or B.A. History)
Download the PDF and keep it handy while you write by printing it out.
Assignment Submission Deadline
The University has announced the deadline as per the latest Notice No. 529, inscribed earlier on 16.02.2026 for all the semester-mode students (2022-2025 batch).
| Course Category | Final Submission Date |
|---|---|
| UG, PG, Diploma & Certificate (Semester Mode) | 25th March, 2026 |
Based on the Official MANUU Notice dated February 16, 2026, the following batches and semesters are required to submit their assignments for the current session:
| Batch (Admission Year) | Academic Programs | Required Semester |
|---|---|---|
| July 2022 Batch | B.A. & B.Com | 6th Semester |
| July 2023 Batch | B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com | 5th Semester |
| July 2024 Batch | All UG & PG Programs | 3rd Semester |
| July 2025 Batch | All UG, PG, Diploma & Certificate | 1st Semester |
Note: If you miss this date, you will have to submit them as “backlog assignments” in the next academic year, which will delay your degree completion.
Instructions for Writing and Submitting
Follow these “Golden Rules” to make sure your work isn’t rejected and scores high marks:
- Handwritten Only: All assignments done offline must be handwritten by you. Printouts or photocopies of another person’s assignment will not be accepted.
- The Cover Page: The first page is the most important. Write your Enrollment Number, Name, Program Name, Course Code and LSC (Learning Support Center) name.
- Mode of Submission
Offline: Most of you will have to submit the assignments physically at your respective Learning Support Centers (LSCs) only. - Online: For certain batches/courses, the university will send Google Form links to your registered email Ids. So, ‘check your inbox regularly’!
- A4 Sheets: Standard A4 size paper should be used. And, often the preference is to write on only one side of the paper for a neat submission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your LSC is simply where you wanted to be during admission. If you’ve lost track of the physical address or contact information, just go to your MANUU DDE website and follow the link for Learner Support Centres. This will provide you with all RCs and LSCs.
Before panicking check your Spam and Junk folders after doing so and you have still not received it, please get in contact with you Program Coordinator (at CDOE head office) or at your Regional Centre as soon as possible.
Only if you are studying an English course (for example, M.A. English or Functional English) would be acceptable. All other course assignments must be done in the medium of instruction of this university (Urdu).
I would advise against it, as the University has fairly rigid deadlines of March 25, 2026. Any assignments that are submitted after the provided submit deadlines will not be accepted for the session they were submitted for and will receive a mark of absent in the internal assessment (grades). This can be a significant inconvenience in the long run.
To receive a passing grade for your Internal Assessment assignment, the minimum required is 10 points out of 30 points or greater. I would also advise you to put in enough effort to obtain a sufficient passing mark so as not to cause any delays in receiving your results.
